The new restaurant will sit on the second floor of the ice entertainment center. The Grill at the Cube will feature 4,650 square feet of space with a 1,030 square-foot kitchen,  a U-shaped bar, and two areas for seating. Owner Jonathan Carillo hopes the restaurant will serve parents to view their kids on the ice while possibly accessing the internet and cell reception for work. Customers can expect various snacks and drinks at this restaurant and a selection of beer and possibly wine.

The Cube, formerly known as Valencia Ice Station, is owned by the city of Santa Clarita and operated by the Los Angeles Kings and American Sports Entertainment Company (ASEC). The ice and entertainment center opened earlier this year. The restaurant, on the other hand, does not have an opening date at this point. Soon after the grand reopening of the ice rink, the establishment requested proposals for partners to establish a pro shop and restaurant within the building.

It’s unclear what the restaurant will serve, but they will have alcohol for parents once their liquor license is approved. When The Cube requested restaurant partners, they hinted at what they’d like to see at this location. The Cube General Manager Larry Bruyere sought a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Grill at the Cube is also expected to partner with The Cube to provide food for birthday parties and events.
