Months after celebrating the company’s 10-year anniversary, co-owners Brenden and Barrett Gomes are getting ready to open their sixth location in the former home of Salt Creek Grille sometime in Summer 2022. When the company’s first Los Angeles location opens, guests can expect delicious American BBQ classics, creative cocktails, and southern charm and ambiance. On top of the mouth-watering food and drinks, this location will also feature axe throwing for anyone 16 and older.

The company opened its first location in downtown Livermore, CA, on April 22, 2012. Since then, Sauced BBQ & Spirits has expanded to San Jose’s Santana Row, Sacramento, and Walnut Creek. After a decade in Northern California, the company finally expanded to Southern California with a brand new location in Orange, at 1535 W. Katella Ave. All sites feature American classics such as BBQ sandwiches, burgers, meats from the pit, sandwiches, and sides. On top of the delicious food, the restaurant will feature an extensive cocktail list and rotating taps.

“My cousin Brenden and I have been dreaming of owning a restaurant since our early college years,” Barrett Gomes said on the website. “Quite frankly, Brenden loved to cook, and I loved to eat…some things never change. We were both born in 1979, and although we grew up on opposite sides of the country, we always stayed close. I grew up in Pleasanton, CA, while Brenden was raised in Atlanta, GA. In our early 30’s (still 2,500 miles apart), it was time to stop dreaming and turn our passion into reality. Several years later, we did just that.”
