The company’s second site was recently announced as an incoming tenant for Inglewood’s mixed-use mega-development, Hollywood Park, which saw its first tenant open one year ago, according to the Los Angeles Business Journal. The new Social Pies, led by co-owners Tyler Salmon and Benjamin Knight, is expected to open in early 2025. It will offer a little bit of everything, including pizza, wings, pasta, salad, and more. This will certainly become a go-to spot for pizza lovers within Hollywood Park.
The new Social Pies location will join several recently announced tenants, including Red Bay Coffee, Martin’s Cocina y Cantina, Smize Ice Cream, Phenix Salon Suites, and Verizon. This set of retailers and eateries is expected to open around the same time as Social Pies. The Meeting Spot, another recently announced tenant, is set to open later this year. Jack Nathan of Kennedy Wilson Brokerage, part of the leasing team at The Shops at Hollywood Park, said in a statement the tenant mix at Hollywood Park “ensures the project is serving the local community, on-site residents, and event attendees.”
Hollywood Park opened last summer when Cinepolis, the first movie theater in Inglewood in nearly 30 years, opened to the public, according to the Journal. Following the opening of the movie theatre, the Residency Art Gallery, Iconix Fitness, JD Sport, and Cosm opened within the retail development. Hollywood Park’s retail district also features occasional community events like Hollywood Park Moves, a free outdoor workout class, and Farm Habit Farmers’ Market. With the announcement of these new restaurants and retailers, Hollywood Park will have even more to offer early next year.
“Food and beverage offerings such as Martin’s Cantina y Cocina and The Meeting Spot bring energy and activation to the project while the addition of Phenix Salon Suites caters to daily needs,” Nathan said. “With Iconix, Cinepolis, and Cosm, the synergistic co-tenancy we are striving for is being realized, and much more is to come.”
