Ryan Gurman with CBRE confirmed an all-new opening of SushiStop — a sushi restaurant with six locations currently open — next to the soon-to-open Silverlake Ramen, which will sit at 175 E Palm Ave in Burbank. According to Gurman, the opening could possibly be next month or February.

The exact address for SushiStop at 16 E Palm Ave will have a large patio area right in front of AMC Theater with a total of 52 seats.

Gurman, along with Evan Clark and Brandon Cohan, were assigned as the listing agents for the Silverlake Ramen property, which previously housed Pizza Rev. SushiStop owner Yusuke Sekiguchi further confirmed the opening of the restaurant with What Now Los Angeles (WNLA). COVID slowed down the process of moving in, as they were originally meant to open up their doors back in Spring. By the time of opening, Sekiguchi is hoping that dining will be open.

“We took over the company from the previous owner two years ago, October of 2018,” they said. SushiStop is best known for having incredibly affordable sushi options and was even featured on Buzzfeed. Sekiguchi told WNLA that they target those who love sushi and who are seeking affordability.

“We want to revolutionize the sushi industry by offering authentic Japanese quality while at the same time eliminating the high prices you find nearly everywhere else,” SushiStop’s website states. “Maybe it’s crazy, but we think everyone should be able to afford to enjoy high-quality sushi anytime they want to.”
