With cakes, pies, cookies, tarts, and other treats, the dessert shop can already be found in West Hollywood, Encino, and Santa Monica.

Founder Jane Lockhart began the business by baking out of her house with support of family and friends, selling her delicious desserts to Los Angeles restaurants. Her reputation grew and on May 5, 1988 the Sweet Lady Jane bakery opened its doors. 

Toddrickallen reports that Sweet Lady Jane will be replacing Cinderella Cakes at 214 S. Beverly Dr. in Beverly Hills.

Sweet Lady Jane Chief Operating Officer Marty Breverman could not be reached for comment ahead of publication.
