The group, led by CEO Leonard Chan, recently submitted a liquor license application to open a new concept in downtown Long Beach. While the specific details regarding the concept are unclear, it’s a significant achievement for The Alchemists, who have opened several concepts while working with other clients to help open their restaurants. Restaurants under their portfolio include The Iron Press, The Blind Rabbit, Rolling Boil, Barcode, and more.
While it’s unclear what the concept will be and what it will replace, it will land in an excellent location in the heart of downtown Long Beach. Currently, Rosemallows sits at this address. It’s unclear if this new concept will move within Rosemallows or replace it. Regardless, The Alchemists are obtaining a liquor license for an on-sale general eating place at this location.
