The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills is growing its brand with a partnership with Neighborly, a “curated food hall” set to open this winter, according to Conejo Valley Guide. The news was announced as one of five collaborations coming to Neighborly across from Paul Martin’s at The Promenade at Westlake. According to construction signage, other brands at Neighborly will include Joan’s On Third (grab & go prepared family meals), Gaby’s (salads, sandwiches, and bowls), Mini Kabob, and Social Monk.
“Neighborly is highlighting the best restaurants and culinary talent around, partnering together to bring crave-able meals to everyone,” a spokesperson for the business tells What Now Los Angeles. “Dominick and the entire team at The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills represent the very best out there, and we’re excited to showcase an entirely new side of this iconic establishment. We look forward to sharing more in the weeks and months ahead.”
The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills, considered one of the first cheese stores in the country, offers over 600 varieties of the highest-quality imported cheeses from all across the globe, freshly made pasta, sauces, tapenades, and spreads, and the very best in wines, artisanal spirits, caviar, seasonal truffles, charcuterie, gourmet foods and more. The store debuted in 1967 under Colonel Sigmund Roth. It was then purchased in 1978 by Norbert Wabnig, who shaped it into an iconic LA institution during his over four decades of ownership. In 2022, Norbert sold the store to 20-year employee and dear friend Dominick DiBartolomeo, who continues to build on its legacy, expanding its offerings while appealing to a wider audience of Los Angeles culinary enthusiasts.
In 2023, Dominick moved The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills from its original N. Beverly Drive location to a much larger, 5000-square-foot location at 9705 S. Santa Monica Blvd., allowing for a more expansive gourmet marketplace with a wider selection of imported products from all over the world and a widely praised menu of sandwiches, salads, and sides.
