“Upland will be the opening of our second location with our eyes set on the next location in the La Verne-area,” CASKS Restaurant Group Executive Vice President Christopher Suchanek said in an email to What Now Los Angeles.

He expected the restaurant to open by August.

“Our five-year plan is five to six locations in and around the region,” he said.

The Hitch Burger is a spin-off of the Inland Empire’s popular Cowboys Burgers & BBQ. With specialties that include Asian Chicken Salad, breakfast favorites, and tacos and taquitos, it’s not a typical burger joint.

With walls decorated with inspirational quotes, fundraising opportunities for local charities, and a percentage of profits going back to Project Boon, The Hitch lives up to its tagline “where giving back never tasted so good.”

“A percentage of every purchase goes back into the surrounding communities thru our sister nonprofit Project Boon,” Suchanek explained.

Last year, The Hitch served 20,000 meals to underserved families through holiday-based events.
