The company’s sixth location is set to move into the former home of Korean BBQ Todos Juntos in a strip mall that features El Pescador Mexican restaurant in the center, according to a recent liquor license application. This will be the northernmost location for Mercedes Raffulls and Jasmine Lymon, who have sites in Long Beach, Lomita, Torrance, and two in Gardena. It’s unclear when this location will open, but customers can expect an all-day breakfast eatery serving lunch and dinner.

The new location will feature several comfort foods in large portions, including deep-dish pizza, burgers, pancakes, and fried chicken. One example of their standout menu is the “original” loaded hash browns, served with two eggs any style, bacon, sausage, green onions, jack, and cheddar cheeses over hash browns topped with chili aioli and a choice of toast. This dish has earned the restaurant national recognition, as the Daily Meal mentioned it as one of the country’s top 10 best hash browns.

This is a massive accomplishment for the owners, considering it started in Gardena in 2012. Before opening the company’s fifth location, the owners of The Pan Eatery bought Lost at Sea Restaurant in Old Town Pasadena from Restaurant Realty. The restaurant and newly renovated bar are bright, cheerful, and crowded, with seating inside and on the street. Now that the fifth location has successfully opened, the two business owners want to expand again in South Gate.
