The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge, a premier retail, dining, and wellness center that opened last Fall and is now 100% leased, has announced the addition of four new retailers which will expand the destination’s already-impressive list of popular brands and restaurants currently offered to LA County shoppers.

The new shops include Allbirds – makers of sustainable shoes and clothing, Madewell – a leader in denim and classic fashions, Parachute Home – a modern bedding and bath company, and Kismet – a rustic-chic Mediterranean restaurant. The center has also announced that Equinox, set to open later this year, is now accepting member enrollment for the new location.

“Our team has been constantly sourcing to find the best retail, lifestyle, and food & beverage brands to bring to The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge ever since development of the center began,” said John Usdan, Chief Executive Officer Midwood Investment & Development, the property owners and operators of the center in a statement. “With the addition of these new offerings – which our community has been patiently awaiting as we worked to become 100% leased – we have solidified the role of The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge as a destination shopping center where visitors can shop, dine, explore, and enjoy the outdoors all in one location.”

The New Zealand-American footwear and apparel company, Allbirds, is expected to open in June 2022. The eco-friendly brand aligns with the region’s values by offering carefully curated product ranges for all seasons in an effort to lower consumers’ carbon footprints. “We are thrilled to open at The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge and are honored to join the center’s impressive lineup of retail brands. We look forward to expanding our footprint in the Los Angeles area and deepening our relationships with local customers through fun events at the new location and continuing our pursuit of making better things in a better way,” said Talia Loewenstein, Director, Global Real Estate.

Parachute Home, expected to open in late 2022, is a home furnishings & décor brand that is known for its premium quality sheets, towels, robes, rugs, and other soft home goods. The company’s unique design approach and commitment to crafting home essentials using only the finest materials, free of harmful chemicals or synthetics, has made it one of the most sought-after brands in recent years.

Kismet Rotisserie, the fast casual restaurant from the team behind Kismet, serves a vegetable-forward menu alongside their signature rotisserie chicken. Striking the balance of healthy and comforting, co-founders Sara Kramer and Sarah Hymanson are serving fresh Mediterranean fare for the solo diner and family dinner alike. Kismet Rotisserie offers locally-sourced, vegetable-filled sandwiches and salads, as well as rotisserie chicken — available a la carte, as a plate or “party pack,” served with hummus, wedge salad, pickles, and pita. “We have long admired the valley’s community and are excited to be a part of it when the restaurant opens in early Fall 2022,” said Owner and Chef Sara Kramer. “Opening a Kismet Rotisserie in the valley has been a long-time goal and we are thrilled that with our second location we are able to make it a reality.”

Effortlessly cool and unexpected, the Madewell brand is a clothing destination for men and women with quality wardrobe essentials, expected to open in early Fall 2022. The retail establishment falls under the J. Crew umbrella and designs its pieces to mix and match – from the perfect dress to versatile denim to a classic tee.

I love the new Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge. It is such a beautiful center. I’ve been there several times. I’m not a fan of the Erewhon cult and their strange policies, but the rest of the offerings are great.

I am very impressed with this new shopping center. There is a very cool vibe going on. The architecture and landscaping are very high quality. I agree with the OP about Erewhon. That place is no longer hip in LA and people are done with their $26 watermelons, but overall there is great shopping at this center.
