A brand new wine bar, The Wine Station, is officially opening in Downtown Los Angeles at 1201 S. Hope Street, Suite 124.
The new wine bar is set to move into the ground floor of Hope + Flower, a luxury rental apartment complex that is a few blocks away from Crypto.com Arena, according to documents submitted to the Los Angeles City Planning Department. This is the latest from Thibaud Duccini, a certified sommelier who previously worked as the Director of Food and Beverage at Evolution Hospitality. It’s unclear when The Wine Station is set to open, but customers can expect various delicious wine options.
The new wine bar will feature approximately 600 square feet of interior space with 34 seats and a 97-square-foot, on-site outdoor seating area with 16 seats, according to project details. The proposed hours of operation are from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. daily. The subject site is a rectangular-shaped lot comprising eight parcels, encompassing 67,521 square feet of lot area, and is located in the Central City Community Plan Area. The property is a mixed-use development consisting of two highrise towers with 730 residential units and 7,873 square feet of ground-floor retail.
This will be an excellent location for The Wine Station. In addition to having plenty of foot traffic coming from the above apartment complex, the wine bar will be within minutes of Downtown Los Angeles’ premier entertainment district, which includes the Los Angeles Convention Center, Peacock Theater, and the GRAMMY Museum. Once The Wine Station opens, it will become a go-to spot for anyone visiting downtown.
