The new exclusive Michelin-star French restaurant will move into the former home of popular cocktail bar Verlaine at an unknown time, likely by the end of the year. Fuks tells What Now Los Angeles the new restaurant will have an outdoor/ indoor lounge next to a fire place where gusts can enjoy finger foods and cocktails. He and his Namaste Hospitality Group recently applied for a liquor license and are behind some of Los Angeles’ hottest nightclubs, such as Members, a Mediterranean restaurant and lounge in West Hollywood.

Thomas opened this all-inclusive destination in the middle of the pandemic and was able to make it successfully through the tough times. The entrepreneur also has experience working for restaurants and club managers across the world. Most recently, he worked as the general manager of Raspoutine LA, and Laduree LA and N.Y., and Bouley in New York City, one of the most prestigious restaurants in the country, led by Chef David Bouley. As for the hospitality industry, Fuks has worked at the Sofitel Luxury Hotel and Resort, Muse Luxury Hotel, and Westin Hotel & Resort.

With the likeliness of this being a nightclub or bar, this will be a perfect spot for the debut. The new business will sit across from the Cedars Sinai Medical Center and the Beverly Center, meaning plenty of foot traffic. On top of that, there are very limited nightlife options in this area. The only bars and clubs surrounding the shopping center and medical center include The 3rd Stop, The Phoenix Bar & Restaurant, Riviera 31, Roches Bar, A.O.C., and The Roger Room.
