Three Adjacent Restaurants/Bars in the Works For Jefferson Boulevard

Liquor licenses have been requested for three different properties on Jefferson Boulevard -- only two of them are currently working with potential future tenants.

Three brand new restaurants are in the works at 4301-4313 Jefferson Blvd, according to a liquor license request obtained by What Now Los Angeles (WNLA). While no restaurants have been announced for that area, the Master Conditional Use permit would apply to three existing buildings. The total square footage of these restaurants encompasses 14,799 and 732 seats.

“The proposed restaurants will utilize existing buildings, therefore there will not be extensive exterior construction that could disrupt the daily life of nearby residents,” the application states. Independently, the first restaurant will be 4,970 square-feet and 234 seats, the second will be 4,863 square-feet and 238 seats, and the third will be 4,966 square-feet and 260 seats.

According to the permit request, the applicant is seeking on-site alcohol purchasing and consumption for three new restaurants. WNLA reached out to an agent affiliated with the project, who said that the owners are preparing the buildings to be taken over by unnamed restaurants — however, those owners are currently working with only two potential tenants at the moment. The request also confirmed that the three restaurants are all separate and not necessarily affiliated with one another.

The application states that “restaurant 1” will have ancillary off-site sales, which may operate “a market area that has items to go. These items may include food items, as well as cooking-related items.” Aside from that, these are “bona fide eating establishments” where no alcohol can be carried to adjacent properties. Since no specific tenant has been landed at this time, information can only be surmised by the application, which states future restaurants will include cocktails, bars, and — probably — happy hour.
