The new 8,000 square-foot, 350-person indoor/ outdoor taproom will be the company’s first brick-and-mortar and is expected to open in early 2022. Truly LA Taproom will feature 12 taps with various exclusive flavors only available to in-person customers. The space will also be used to feature live entertainment from up-and-coming musicians, comedians, and artists. Another new surprise Truly LA Taproom will have is light bites that will complement the creative Truly cocktails.

Some of the themes the new taproom will embrace are art and creativity. The company has sought local artists to commission murals for the exterior of the building, with a regular calendar of the space. On top of highlighting local talent, Truly will also leverage its existing partnership with Live Nation to bring visitors ongoing cultural entertainment in the form of its Truly Inspired concert series and comedy shows, which will be live-streamed from the taproom to drinkers around the world. All of this falls under the umbrella of the Boston Beer Company, which owns Truly Hard Seltzer.

“Our drinkers are all about exploration and discovery, and we want to give them that in unexpected ways,” Lesya Lysyj, CMO of the Boston Beer Company, said in a press release. “We wanted to do something no one else has done – and that’s how Truly LA was born. At its core, our brand is all about bringing people together and forming genuine connections, and Truly LA is a physical representation of that sentiment.”
