Both establishments will sit in the newly rebranded and repositioned luxury lifestyle flagship hotel, Hotel Per La. Sage Hospitality Group is planning to have a soft opening in Summer 2022, with a grand opening in September 2022. The new hotel will move into the former Bank of Italy headquarters, a historic 12-story building on the corner of Olive and Seventh Streets. When Hotel Per La opens, guests can expect more than 10,000 square feet of event space and dramatic views of the LA skyline.

Details regarding the new restaurant and rooftop bar are limited, but they will feature a casual yet polished tone. Per La Hotel’s interior design was inspired by the building in which it’s housed. As a result, all rooms feature original artwork from a Paris-based design studio and are dressed in custom-designed furnishings and luxury linens. Many include standalone pedestal bathtubs and separate rooms for wash closets.

This is a massive accomplishment for Sage Hospitality Group, a Denver-based hospitality management, investment, and development company comprised of four distinct companies: Sage Hotel Management, Sage Restaurant Concepts, Sage Investments, and Sage Studio. The group currently has restaurants in 16 states and Washington D.C. As for California, the group, owned and operated by the CEO Walter Isenberg, controls Oceanside’s Hello Betty Fish House, Sonoma’s Wit & Wisdom, and Napa’s Vin Eleven. This will be the group’s first restaurant experience in Los Angeles County.
