Currently, the popular doughnut shop has one location in Los Angeles with a site in Hollywood at 100 Universal City Plaza. Now, Voodoo Doughnut is about to expand with even more locations, according to QSR Magazine. First, the company will start with a new location in Venice at 66 E Windward Avenue, opening in 2025. Just steps away from the iconic Venice sign, the new store will bring Voodoo’s handcrafted creations and unapologetic creativity to the heart of this vibrant, artistic community.

“Venice has a vibe that aligns with Voodoo’s spirit,” Chris Schultz, CEO of Voodoo Doughnut, said in a press release. “We are excited to share the Voodoo magic with the community that makes this neighborhood so special.”

Located at the crossroads of Venice’s history and forward-thinking future, Voodoo Doughnut is set to become a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike. The Venice Beach location will offer all the brand’s beloved classics, from the Bacon Maple Bar to the iconic Voodoo Doll, 40+ handcrafted doughnut offerings, and a line of beloved vegan flavors.

Another location is planned at 7101 Melrose Avenue, at the corner of Melrose and La Brea, according to QSR Magazine. The new Voodoo Doughnut will replace Chipotle sometime next year. The Melrose location will feature Voodoo’s extensive line of beloved handcrafted doughnuts, including fan favorites like the Bacon Maple Bar and the iconic Voodoo Doll, along with a line of popular vegan offerings. Guests can expect Vo doo’s iconic pink building, spinning doughnut cases, black velvet spirit channeler, and unmistakable creative flair, making every visit a unique experience.

“Melrose is the perfect place to bring Voodoo Doughnut’s unique flavors and creative energy to L.A.,” Schultz said. “We’re excited to be part of his vibrant community and share something truly special.”

Voodoo Doughnut is known for its bold and unapologetic approach to doughnut-making, which has drawn fans and media attention since the first shop opened in Portland, Oregon, in 2003. With over 40 offerings of handcrafted doughnuts made fresh daily and a commitment to quality and creativity, Voodoo has grown to operate 22 locations across the United States, with four additional locations coming soon, including Melrose and Venice Beach.
