Wine Cheese Etc., a new cheese and gourmet market, is coming to Long Beach, located at 2938 Clark Ave.
The family-owned market is expected to open in Winter 2021, according to their Instagram. Owner Stephen Murray tells What Now Los Angeles the market will not only offer a variety of food and wines but will also offer a monthly membership with options of receiving two or four bottles a month. Members will also receive exclusive products such as infused olive oils, spices, rubs, and more. Wine Cheese Etc. will also offer gift baskets, cheese boards, cookbooks, and other unique culinary gifts to its customers and members.
Stephen is opening this new market with his wife, Kerri, who has spent years in the neighborhood. The husband-wife duo gets ready to move into a vacant space between Steady Brewing Beer Co. and Baja Senora Mexican Restaurant. Customers can expect to find everything you would need for a charcuterie board at this new market, including meets, cheese, fruits, and other delectable finger foods.
“Stephen & Kerri Murray have deep roots in the Los Altos neighborhood of Long Beach,” according to their Instagram. “Stephen has worked as a chef in some of California’s finest restaurants before planting roots back in Long Beach: from Mobil 5 Star fine dining at Studio Montage Laguna Beach, Bottega Napa Valley under acclaimed Chef Michael Chiarello, local Legend Chef Steve Samson of Rossoblu and most recently as Executive Chef of Terroni and Dopolavoro. Kerri is a preschool teacher in Long Beach and loves all things wine. We are so excited to serve our neighborhood but offering all things delicious!”
