Moving into a 2,289 square foot space in the 9500 block of Washington Boulevard of downtown Culver City, the new deli should find plenty of foot traffic.

“Downtown Culver City is a very desirable neighborhood,” said Rafael Padilla, the broker who represented the landlord in the deal. He compared the area to Third Street Promenade in downtown Santa Monica and said there are a handful of restaurants that will be opening in the downtown area.

Taking over space previously occupied by seasonal Tex-Mex restaurant Amacita, Wise Sons will be located next to ArcLight Cinema and across the street from Honey’s Kettle Fried Chicken.

Founded in San Francisco’s Mission District, Wise Sons pairs classic Jewish recipes with a California twist. Featured in publications across the country, Wise Sons was founded by Evan Bloom with Leo Beckerman and his brother in 2010.

Bloom could not be reached in time for publication.
