The proposed 5,169 square-foot restaurant will have a 387 square-foot outdoor dining area and a 418 square-foot terrace, according to documents submitted to the Los Angeles Planning Department. The new Zinque, the second in Downtown Los Angeles, will feature a 1,040 square foot to-go market, all on the ground floor of the development. The company, owned by CEO Emmanuel Dossetti, also has locations in Venice, West Hollywood, Newport, San Diego, and Scottsdale, AZ.

Zinque recently announced a new breakfast menu for all locations. Now, guests can find several new delicious breakfast entrees, including brioche French toast with fresh berries, matcha granola, and the ‘le breakfast bowl’ with poached egg, quinoa, avocado, asparagus, garbanzo beans, cherry tomatoes, and Greek yogurt. The restaurant has also introduced smoked salmon toast, a quinoa breakfast burrito, crispy sunny eggs with prosciutto, and a breakfast sandwich with egg, tomato, spinach, basil, and aged swiss.

“We’ve been busy… real busy,” written on the company’s website. “We’ve been getting down in the kitchen with DK Kolender, coming up with some brand new breakfast items. We even made some improvements to all of your favorites. Why? Because, as much as we love them, we can’t keep playing the same hits day after day. So for all you breakfast people, we hope this will make your day even brighter.”

If the restaurant and market are approved, it will join several other new restaurants in The Grand LA, a new retail, residence, and hotel development designed by Frank Gehry. Award-winning Spanish chef José Andrés and his D.C.-based ThinkFoodGroup have opened three new restaurants in the development, including Bazaar Meat. The two other restaurants will sit within the new 305-room Conrad Los Angeles Hotel within the business center.
