A restaurant called Senor Esparza Tacos is gearing up to open at 251 S Irwindale Ave. Azusa, CA 91702, the former home of Chica’s Place Deli & Grill, according to a recently filed liquor license.

Additionally, The City of Azusa’s May 2022 New Business report lists the establishment as “incoming” with the owner identified as Edmundo Esparza

Senor Esparza Tacos will, more than likely, serve Mexican cuisine in a casual atmosphere as the space boasts a walk-up counter and informal seating.

It’s unclear if Esparza will maintain the restaurant’s layout, but the arrangement appears perfect as-is for a laid-back taco experience accompanied by crisp, cold beers.
