Public records indicate that renovations will transform an existing parking lot into outdoor dining, a bar, two ADA bathrooms, a new water feature, trellis, and fireplace.

Casa Vega originally opened in 1956 and is one of the longest continuously family-owned restaurants in all of greater L.A. Today, it is helmed by Christina “Christy” Vega, a third-generation restaurateur who worked side-by-side with her father and founder of Casa Vega, Ray Vega, for over a decade before taking over.

The restaurant was named a James Beard award winner in 2022 and ships nationwide via Goldbelly.
