In January, owner Ricky Hernandez told What Now Los Angeles all about the new and exciting changes he’s made since acquiring Coffee Coffee, such as improving the coffee program, offering delicious lunch options, and adding a second location in Larchmont.
As Coffee Coffee prepares for the opening of its second shop, a third appears on the horizon. On Wednesday, Hernandez confirmed that Coffee Coffee is headed east to satisfy the abundant coffee-enthusiasts in Los Feliz.
Between the original “vintage-style small shop” on Fairfax and the “more elevated food scene” on Melrose that showcases the kitchen via a pop-up window, it will be exciting to see what Coffee Coffee will do with the 1,700 square-foot shop, at 4459 Sunset Blvd. It will replace Caffe Vita which closed its doors last year when the tenant and landlord couldn’t reach an agreement on rent.
Although the third shop is in the early stages of development and an opening date has not yet been announced, one thing is for certain: Coffee Coffee will continue to dazzle and delight regulars and newcomers alike.
