Tang, who is also the founder of Perfect Hire recruiting agency, has over 20 years of luxury hotel experience with a strong background in food and beverage.

She recently told What Now Los Angeles that her forthcoming wine shop’s menu will focus on classic European regions and smaller producers, and will feature a monthly wine club & weekly wine tastings for the community.

With most of THBS’ wines being sustainability produced from organically farmed grapes, it only makes sense that Tang’s operation would boast the mantra, “honest farmer, honest juice, honest bottle shop.”

As for why Tang chose Eagle Rock, the decision was easy. Not only does she reside in close proximity to her forthcoming brick-and-mortar, but she also loves how diverse and open-minded the community is in ER and the surrounding areas like Silver Lake and Highland Park.

“Hopefully the store can be a platform to tie the community together through wine. It’s a passion project I’ve been wanting to do for a long time,” Tang explains. “[I wanted] a small storefront to share the love of grapes.”

According to a public hearing document for the proposed project, the 336-square-foot retail shop will have a total of ten indoor seats and will operate from 10 am to 10 pm daily.
