Lobster Guys is opening a fourth location at 800 S Pacific Coast Hwy in Redondo Beach. Owner Michael Grajewski told WNLA the new store will have larger facilities and a bigger kitchen than the others – and yes, that means they’ll be offering an expanded menu. He also said this will be the first outpost to offer a full line of alcohol.

“Redondo has been really good to us, so when this location came on the market we snatched it up,” said Grajewski. “We have a great mixologist from Manhattan working on our cocktail menu, and we’ll also be serving happy hour.”
While Grajewski didn’t have more to say on what the new location’s menu will look like just yet, Lobster Guys’ other spots serve a number of lobster rolls, lobster mac and cheese, lobster grilled cheese, clam chowder, salads, shrimp and crab.
Lobster Guys currently has three open locations in Redondo Beach, Pasadena and Woodland Hills. The seafood purveyor’s sister concept, Lobster & Beer, has two outposts in L.A.’s Palms neighborhood and Santa Monica. As for future locations, Grajewski mentioned that the chain plans to start franchising soon.
But Lobster Guys isn’t the only shellfish slinger in town, and Grajewski wants to make sure customers know which stores are his.
“There’s been a lot of confusion around an imposter restaurant that tried stealing our name. When they first opened, they tried calling themselves L&B Coastal, copying our Lobster & Beer concept. Now they’re called Coastal HB. I want to make sure people know we’re not affiliated.”
Lobster Guys’ new Redondo Beach restaurant is slated to open by mid-June.
