This is a massive accomplishment for the company, owned by Tyler Smith, who debuted the first location in the heart of Downtown Upland on June 13th, 2019. Smith was offered a spot in the Wells Fargo North Tower last November and will open sometime in July 2022, a representative tells What Now Media Group. Lucky Coffee Roasters believes in serving better across the board, rather than only a niche few coffees that only “specialty coffee” people know about.

As the company approaches its three-year anniversary, it proves it not only survived through the pandemic but thrived and continues to expand as the restaurant industry slowly returns to normalcy. On top of Lucky’s two current cafes in Upland and Claremont, the latter features the company’s roastery that serves the other locations. When the new Downtown location opens next month, customers can expect not just freshness or good coffee, but quality coffee and service.

“Our saying is that we aim for community, not competition,” the company’s website proudly states. “We aim to work with our local roasters (who are also our friends) to make a healthier coffee community that supports one another. Although, we are all competing against one another, without each other, our customers wouldn’t go on coffee crawls or trying new coffees to visit each and every one of us. So we work together to help each other be successful and keep our vision going.”

CORRECTION: The article previously misstated the address as 707 Wilshire Blvd. The correct address is 333 S. Grand Ave. Suite 150.

I love their pastries, especially their croissants and morning glory muffins! They’re perfect with their flavorful coffee! And their customer service is great!
