An ABC application posted to the building’s facade confirms the incoming status of Standing’s Butchery, and Phelps told What Now Los Angeles Salt’s Cure needs to “iron out some small details but is absolutely planning to be [at the location] with [a] breakfast concept.”

In 2021, Eater LA reported on both openings, saying, “the new setup will first and foremost act as a second butcher shop,” but will also serve as a space for Standing’s popular burger pop-up Burgers by Standing’s to have a permanent home.

The Salt’s Cure team will turn out griddle cakes and breakfast fare during daylight hours before they too sell burgers, beer, and wine for the rest of the day, according to Eater.
