Little details have emerged regarding this new cafe, other than the company, owned by Pietro Brembilla, recently applied for a liquor license. The new cafe will move into the former home of Montana Mercantile at an unknown date. The company currently has a restaurant in New York that boasts delicious gourmet foods, imported Italian wines, and coffee, combined with a warm, friendly experience. This will be Sogno Toscano’s West Coast debut.

If this new cafe is anything like the New York City restaurant, guests can expect authentic Italian dishes, such as bolognese, peperina, and preziosa. For appetizers, the restaurant offers burrata e Crudo, Caprese salad, and rucola e bresaola. Despite what the cafe will offer, guests can expect high-quality food and drinks from the family farm in Bolgheri, Tuscany. Before this cafe, customers could only experience the family’s offerings through nationwide delivery.

“All our food is made from scratch using traditional recipes handed down through generations, so every bite tastes like home,” according to the company’s website. “Our menu features everything from truffle paninis, Burrata e Crudo to salads and pasta. If you can’t decide on one thing, we offer a variety of platters perfect for sharing with friends over wine or espresso! So come in today and let us take you back to the heart of Italy where life slows down and good times are always on tap!”
