Traveling up the coast, A PCH is River Jetty Restaurant Group’s first concept outside of Orange County. Located on the second level of 2ND & PCH, guests can take in panoramic views overlooking Alamitos Bay from the 2,500-square-foot enclosed and weatherproofed patio.

“Born and raised in Southern California, we’re excited to share our world-class fine-dining destination with a new SoCal neighborhood,” said Jordan Otterbein, managing partner of River Jetty Restaurant Group in a statement. “We pride ourselves on delivering consistently excellent hospitality and culinary offerings while tailoring each concept to the unique community in which it is located. We can’t wait for Long Beach to discover their new favorite hangout.”

With five Pacific Coast Highway locations, River Jetty Restaurant Group is known for channeling laid-back coastal luxury into the design and welcoming atmosphere of their restaurants. Step inside the 5,400 square-foot space to find an eye-catching brass central bar with 18 seats, cozy red and blue banquets, unique curated artwork and modern fixtures. A glass partition will divide the dining room and kitchen which houses a Wood Stone pizza oven and pasta extruder for fresh, uniquely shaped pastas. Guests can make a stop at River Jetty’s signature vintage photo booth offering complimentary prints to commemorate the epicurean experience.

The culinary team will be led by Executive Chef Louis Capiz who was elevated from Chef de Cuisine, his role at A Crystal Cove since its opening in 2022. “I’m thrilled for the opportunity to help open another restaurant with River Jetty Restaurant Group and to step into my new role as Executive Chef,” commented Capiz. “I’m committed to upholding our restaurants’ standards of using only the finest quality ingredients and highlighting fresh, seasonal flavors throughout the year.”

Chef Capiz will present a seasonally inspired modern-American menu showcasing River Jetty Restaurant Group’s dishes of land and sea along with a selection of cocktails exclusive to the Long Beach location. Starters include the Spicy Yellowfin Tuna on tempura eggplant topped with sriracha aioli, wasabi tobiko, sweet soy and chives or opt for the Charred Octopus with chorizo picante, roasted potatoes, confit tomato, aji amarillo sauce and red onions. The Fancy Pizza for the table features a marinated wagyu hanger steak, mozzarella, curry, roasted pineapple, calabrese aioli and Fresno chilies, and choose from a selection of entreés including “Dirty Pasta” made with rigatoni, ground duck, sage, aromatics and ricotta salata.

The bar program at A PCH presents a curated list of artisanal cocktails with a local flare including the Sub-Lime with Tito’s Vodka, Solerno, simple syrup and fresh lime juice; Up in Smoke featuring Suntory Toki Whisky, Averna amaro, Bénédictine, black walnut bitters, and smoked cinnamon; and Summer in the LBC made with Bulleit Rye, Aperol, Giffard Peche, Angostura bitters, fresh lemon juice and topped with grapefruit soda.
