The new Ahgassi Gopchang will be fully operational by the end of 2024 with a full bar, private dining rooms and VIP entrance. The restaurant specializes in offal and “cooking roasted beef intestines to perfection,” per its website

According to Eater LA, the new space, designed by Sang Kim of South Korea’s Sun Creative firm, will be reminiscent of traditional Korean artwork with sleek lines, wood-paneled dining areas and segmented rooms.

The brand is part of the Kijung Hospitality Group, which also owns the popular Baekjeong KBBQ, which has several locations throughout L.A. Kijung is helmed by CEO Michael Chon
