Alfred Coffee has earned its mountainous devoted fanbase across Los Angeles, Austin, and Japan. Founder and creative director Josh Zad has taken the buck by the antlers to build a stylish and creative coffee shop franchise that lures social influencers and celebrities to its Instagrammable venues. From Chrissy Teigen taking a sultry sip from an Alfred Iced Matcha Latte to Kylie Jenner modeling an Alfred Iced Latte, who wouldn’t want to know what all the fuss was about?

Going to Alfred Coffee means bomb coffee or tea and a cute selfie with an aesthetic backdrop of subway tile, viridescent succulents, and a “but first, coffee” neon sign glowing behind you.

Currently, in Los Angeles, Alfred Coffee has coffee shops–each with its own personality and vibe–in Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Koreatown, Melrose Place, Palisades Village, Silverlake, Studio City, and most recently in Westwood Village.

And Zad is at it again. The creative guru is bringing an Alfred Coffee to Malibu. The new shop will be turning heads at 3835 Cross Creek Road in the Malibu Country Mart. Marketing manager Becky Coutler told What Now Los Angeles that Alfred Coffee is planning for a late summer opening.

So for those of you in Malibu, keep a look out for a trail of deer tracks. Knowing Alfred, he’s probably donning some classic Vans Old Skool, the dapper buck.
