[UPDATE: Sept. 6, 2020]: Dave’s Hot Chicken has delayed its Fairfax opening, according to a post to the company’s Instagram page. A reason was not cited and a new opening timeline has not yet been announced. “Due to a last-minute delay, Fairfax will not open today,” the post states. “We are so sorry to everybody that showed up!! We will make it up to everybody that took the time to line up!”

Nashville-style chicken franchise chain Dave’s Hot Chicken is grand opening its new Fairfax restaurant on Sunday, September 6, Eater LA on Friday first reported. Co-Founder Arman Oganesyan confirmed the news with What Now Los Angeles.
As part of the Dave’s Hot Chicken debut, at 465 N. Fairfax Ave., the first 100 guests in line will be given freebies, according to a post on the ever-expanding restaurant’s Instagram page this week. “We’ll have some surprises for the first 100 people there,” the social media post states. “Stay tuned for more details.” The new Fairfax Dave’s Hot Chicken will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to midnight.
It’s the fourth location for the chain, serving its usual menu of hot chicken tenders and sliders with dies including fries, slaws, and mac n’ cheese. An outpost in Glendale, at 1350 E Colorado St., is around the corner from opening along with a slew of new franchised outposts.
