Tacos El Superior is opening three new locations according to its website — one in Hawaiian Gardens at 12056 E Carson St and two in Bakersfield at 5544 California Ave and 2617 Haley St. The brand, which originally started as a food truck, recently opened its fifth location in Sylmar and also has outposts in Azusa, Palmdale, Lancaster and Tehachapi.
“To go from our Taco Truck to 5 brick & mortar locations has been a huge blessing! We’ve had our battles, but showing up & serving our customers & making their days has always made it all worth it,” they said in a recent post on their Instagram.
The drive-thru taqueria, helmed by Andrew Marroquin, is known for its authentic Mexican dishes like tacos, mulitas, quesadillas, sopes, nachos, burritos and more. They also serve SoCal-style loaded fries and agua frescas with flavors like horchata, pineapple and fresca con leche. Combo meals include an entree, side (rice and beans, fries or chips) and a medium soft drink.
Opening dates for the new stores have not yet been announced.
