In 2021, What Now Los Angeles reported on Gaucho Grill’s multi-concept venue coming to 780 E. Shoreline Drive in Long Beach. It was predicted that by the summer of 2022, all three concepts — Gaucho Beach, Gaucho Cafe, and Gaucho Mercado — would be ready to see guests, diners, and gawkers at the brand-new $9 million beachfront property.

However, according to LongBeachize, “years of setbacks” have altered the debut date. Now, Owners Adrian Amosa and Kirk Cartozian — who closed Gaucho Grill at the current Agave’s space on Pine Street in 2021 – are looking to debut Gaucho Beach, the triple threat’s more formal “coastal kitchen,” later this summer.

Here’s what we’ve gathered about the menu:

Gaucho Beach will showcase an array of Californian- and Argentine-inspired plates, including soups & salads, a “heavy” list of sandwiches (lobster roll, a chicken and beef Milanese sandwich, and a blackened salmon sandwich, for example), wood-fired entrees, and a simple appetizer menu with items like guacamole, ceviche, and short rib croquettes.
