Bringing the newest location to California is Reza Medali, a seasoned multi-unit and multi-brand franchisee who also owns the Hoots Pasadena location. Medali was born in Iran and immigrated to the United States when he was 14 years old. He knew from a young age that he wanted to own his own business. He chose franchising because it provided him with the tools and resources right at his fingertips that he would need to achieve the success he desired.
Medali’s entrance into the franchising world began with Subway at the young age of 18, and eventually he expanded his portfolio to Blaze Pizza where he currently owns 14 locations. Wanting to grow his portfolio even further, Medali started to research new opportunities and took notice that fast casual chicken was a trending avenue. When he stepped foot into a Hooters and tried the food, he knew that he had landed upon his next adventure.
“With fast casual chicken concepts soaring in popularity, I knew that would be my next franchising venture,” shared Medali in a statement. “After visiting a Hooters, I was able to experience first-hand how good the food is. I knew that with food this good, and backed by a historic brand such as Hooters, I had a promising opportunity in front of me with Hoots Wings.”
With one thriving Hoots location and the opening of another, Medali envisions a future with more possibilities. The seasoned franchisee has committed to four additional locations in the greater Los Angeles area that are in various stages of development. Driven by the concept and delicious food, he anticipates expanding his footprint even larger and bringing the Hoots experience to more communities across Southern California.
Hoots Wings is known for its wings and the variety of sauces and rubs available.
