Although there is no set opening date for the Beverly Hills location, it’s expected to be the first of two coming to Los Angeles, according to Eater LA. Partner, collaborator, and wine savant Helen Johannesen will be joining owners  Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo to launch a standalone wine bar to showcase Johannesen’s remarkable skills. The group has long wanted to add a standalone bar to their establishments but have only been able to open a wine room for take-home bottle sales and on-site drinking.

Along Moorpark Street in Studio City, the second location is expected to open by the end of the year. Few details are available for the second restaurant, other than that some paperwork is still in progress, causing some delay in this opening. Both new locations will likely feature the usual light blonde wood and all-day menu as the other three locations.

Shook and Dotolo opened the first Jon & Vinny’s in 2015 after successfully launching several successful restaurants throughout Los Angeles. Before opening Jon & Vinny’s, the duo opened several local restaurants, including Animal, Son of Gun, Trois Mec, and Petit Trois. Now, customers can find Jon & Vinny’s in Fairfax, Brentwood, and Slauson. Rumors have it the trio behind this restaurant is plotting to expand to the East Coast after opening the fourth and fifth locations in Los Angeles.

All Jon & Vinny’s throughout Los Angeles feature the same menu, split between breakfast and lunch/ dinner. For the former, customers can expect morning pastries, plates, morning pizzas, and desserts. Of course, coffee, tea, and other drinks will be available in the morning. For lunch and dinner, the restaurant offers classic Italian starters, salads, pizza, and pasta. Finally, a vast alcohol selection will be available for both new restaurants, especially with the help of Johannesen.
