It looks like M2K Restaurant Group is working on a new concept called Kasa Rin. The restaurant recently applied for a liquor license in Little Tokyo at 123 Astronaut Ellison S Onizuka St.
M2K Restaurant has been behind a number of concepts, including The Backhouse Japanese Izakaya, EMC Seafood & Oyster Bar, Spear, The Big Catch Seafood, Bunker Hill Bar and Grill, Wokcano.
Not much else is known about Kasa Rin at this time. Yenju Chen, George Shenefelt, and Mika Nakata Shenefelt are the individuals that applied for the liquor license. They did not immediately respond to WNLA’s request for comment.
