It looks Next Door Lounge is under new ownership. Bronson Hospitality now owns the nightlife spot, according to a Facebook post. Jacques Massachi, who founded Bronson Hospitality, and his brother Albert, who he co-owns MCAP Partners real estate investment firm with, are partners in the business.
Established in 2011, Next Door was known for its 1920s speakeasy vibes and celebrity clientele. It specialized in private events, shows, screenings, and more. It currently seems to be open for private events but not the general public. That said, the Massachis recently applied for a type 47 on-sale liquor license at the site, which is typically issued to restaurants. Could there be a supper club in the works?
It is unclear whether Bronson Hospitality intends to keep the same vibe at Next Door or offer up something new. The Massachis did not immediately respond to WNLA’s request for comment.
