Helmed by chef Ali Mesghali, who grew up in Iran and L.A., the eatery serves a variety of Persian dishes including labne, fattoush, shirazi, falafel, hummus, different kabobs, sides, desserts like baklava and ice cream, plus wine and beer. With this latest location, it seems the chef is returning to his roots in the City of Angels.

Rumi’s Kitchen has five stores between Atlanta, Alpharetta, Houston and D.C. The Westfield Century City site appears to be their first in California.

An opening date for the new restaurant has not been announced.
