The cafe’s menu will feature an array of soups, salads, Tuscan schiacciate, pinsa Romana, pastas, plus a wine bar and espresso bar. On the market side, Sogno Toscano, which translates to “Tuscan Dream,” will sell high-quality goods either imported from Italy or locally sourced in the U.S. from Italian producers. Customers will be able to purchase a variety of meats, cheeses, seafood, pastas, grains, sweets, crackers, antipasto, tomatoes, truffles, gift packages, oils, vinegars and more.
Sogno Toscano first launched in 2008 as a trusted purveyor of authentic Italian products to restaurants throughout the U.S. The company was founded by childhood friends Pietro Brembilla and Brian Persico, who both grew up in the Tuscan countryside before moving to NYC in 2006.
Sogno Toscano currently has one other location in Santa Monica at 1512 Montana Ave., as well as two locations in NYC and 10 distribution centers around the U.S.
An opening date for the new L.A. outpost has yet to be announced.
