Co-owner Vanessa Banos tells What Now Los Angeles that the team will have a better idea as to when exactly Ramon’s will debut after ongoing inspections are completed, likely by week’s end.

Per a job ad for the incoming eatery, Ramon’s will be a full-service concept that offers classic Mexican dishes and popular tapas/paella from Spain. Paella, a rice dish originally from Valencia, is regarded as one of the best-known dishes in Spanish cuisine.

Ramon’s Tacos y Tapas will join a slew of small businesses along the heavily treed downtown strip, including Ed’s Place, Classic Coffee, and Village Vault Restaurant.
