The outpost will be helmed by Charles Steynberg, a hospitality veteran from Johannesburg, South Africa who has worked in Cape Town, New York, and now LA and operates VS Hospitality Inc. alongside music exec Jazmine Valencia.

Valencia is also the president of JV Agency, an LA and NY-based music marketing group.

Presently, Steynberg says they are in the permitting phase of development but are eager to bring healthy, delicious food to LA as soon as possible.

When asked about his plans for further expansion, Steynberg explained, “The goal is to open at least three locations in Los Angeles over the next two years…I feel honored to be a part of such a wonderful brand and am [actually] hoping to expand all over SoCal.”

Founded by former D1 cheerleader Brianna Keefe, Toastique utilizes quality bread as a canvas for piled-high combinations that promote clean living.

“[Keefe] takes the color of the fresh, crisp produce, mixes it with her passion and love of healthy living to create the beautiful delicacies of Toastique,” explains the brand’s website.

Aptly, Keefe’s creations don’t just splash around in the shallows of the toast world, they dive deep into transcendent territory, consistently exhibiting how bread is a base with the neverending potential to both satisfy and satiate.

Take Toastique’s Three-Cheese Italian offering, for instance: jalapeno-cheddar toast topped with Prosciutto, melted Swiss and fontina, roasted garlic onion jam, and dressed arugula — a protein-packed nosh of meal-like proportions fit for any time of day.

Additionally, the wellness-focused eatery serves smoothies, cold-press (never masticated) juices, and titanic bowls stacked with nature’s sweet treats.
