The new two-story restaurant was going to feature a full-service, sit-down dining experience with modern twists on European-influenced fare featuring steak, seafood, and vegetarian alternatives. The proposed space will have 126 seats for its patrons, who will be able to dine and drink from 11:00 am to 2:00 am, daily. The new restaurant will be owned and operated by Spartak Petoyan.

“The upstairs will have formal table presentations with linen tablecloths and warm lighting for elegant dining,” according to a case filing for the restaurant submitted to the City of Los Angeles. “The downstairs will function as a less formal dining area including appetizers and starter dishes for those waiting for their formal dinner service upstairs, as well as those who are seeking high-quality gourmet dining, but in a less formal atmosphere.”

The location was previously held by Melrose Lightspace, an event venue that recently closed down. There isn’t a clear date for the official opening. The new restaurant hopes to compliment the vibrant area along Melrose Ave., which features a stretch of retail and restaurants for all demographics.

CORRECTION: The project has since been terminated.
