Restaurateurs Justin Essman and Mickey Mance will combine forces to launch VIDA Modern Taqueria in Redondo Beach.
Although mystery shrouds the brand new concept by the South Bay locals, one can safely expect exquisite Mexican fare from Essman of Tower 12, the beach-town casual kitchen and bar, and Mance of the famous Mickey’s Italian Deli and Pizzeria–both of which are located in Hermosa Beach.
VIDA Modern Taqueria will settle into the Riveria Village at 1723 S Catalina Avenue. The beach-side destination, loved by locals and tourists, is a hub bustling with galleries, boutiques, and a diverse range of restaurants including Matty’s Crawdaddies, Avenue Italy, Creme de la Crepe, and Hennessey’s Tavern.
Bread & Butter Senior Account Executive Knarik Brewster told What Now Los Angeles that “VIDA will be opening later this summer.”
