The new 4,600 square-foot grocery store will replace Active Ride Shop sometime in the second half of 2022. This becomes the second Wild Fork Foods in Los Angeles, following the new Manhattan Beach location coming later this year and the 20th location overall. Wild Fork Foods, owned and operated by JBS USA, currently has open California stores in Thousand Oaks and Mission Viejo. Now, north Los Angeles County will have plenty of high-quality meat and seafood at an affordable price.

This becomes the second new tenant around the River Oaks Shopping Center, joining the upcoming Big Chicken, who is replacing PizzaRev at an unknown date. The company started out of Florida in 2019 and has since expanded to Pennsylvania and Illinois before heading to the West Coast for the Mission Viejo, which opened last year. The new Wild Fork Foods in Valencia will join a handful of other healthy/ organic grocery stores in the area, including Whole Foods Market and Sprouts Farmers Market.

Wild Fork Foods hopes to set itself apart from these competitors with its process, which involves blast freezing to reduce crystallization and maintain juiciness. The company also ages all of its beef in a climate-controlled environment for 17 days. Customers can order for pickup or same-day delivery on a large assortment of meats, seafood, and sides. The company also sells specialty meats, such as venison, elk, goat, alligator, ostrich, and much more.
