EJL Entertainment (The Kohno Family), which made an investment into Yama Seafood to help strengthen its business, has submitted documents to the City of Los Angeles Planning Department to open a new 2,064 square-foot restaurant in the former home of Champagne French Bakery Cafe. Once plans are approved, the company will be expanding to a second location, offering fresh sashimi, sake, and sushi rolls. The new Yama Seafood will sit between a Chipotle Mexican Grill and a Starbucks.

Not much information about this new restaurant/ marketplace is known other than what the proposed documents offer. A few items to be found at this new location include Japanese strawberry soft serve ice cream, Ikura (salmon roe), and various Japanese snacks.
