The bar will take over the former Bluebird Brasserie space which, back in 2022, was gearing up to transition to the Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. However, Fig Mountain Co-founder Jaime Dietenhofer tells WNLA, “We were never able to finalize the lease with the landlord at Bluebird Brasserie, unfortunately, because they sold the property during our negotiations.”

Bluebird Brasserie, which also hosted the horror museum Dirk’s Terror Tavern, shuttered its doors at the start of the pandemic before becoming part of Fig Mtn.’s expansion plans.

Additionally, Pico Boulevard’s Stalking Horse and Westwood’s Broxton Brewpub were meant to undergo a similar merging, as reported by Eater, but, for now, both seem to be wholly untouched by the brand.

Comment from Game Changer founder Masoud Eatezadi is forthcoming.
