Tyler and Ashley Wells, the husband-and-wife team that founded the exceedingly popular All Time, are gearing up to open another restaurant. The pair recently applied for a liquor license at 875 E Mariposa St in Altadena under the business name Bernee, which happens to be Ashley’s middle name. Since the new concept’s moniker seems to take after Ashley, who is regarded as one of L.A.’s most lauded sommeliers, perhaps Bernee will have a wine bar or wine tasting component? Alas, this is just speculation.

Since opening in 2018, All Time (named after Ashley and Tyler’s initials) has attracted praise from numerous celebrity fans and media outlets. Goop, for instance, has called their focaccia bread “too good to miss.”

For those that love the Wells’ culinary creations, customers will soon be able to try out their recipes for themseleves. Tomorrow, Tyler and Ashley are releasing their first cookbook title “All Time.”

In February, Ashley wrote on her Instagram, “This book is a mere sliver of the blood (knuckles grated), sweat (cooking over fire is hot), and tears (too many fallen for specific attribution) that is not only All Time but our life together. I’m so proud of us, my husband, our restaurant, our team for all that we’ve made, all that we do.” And Vanessa Hudgens commented on the post, “Please tell me the crispy rice recipe is in there.”

Ultimately, All Time’s appeal stems from its cozy dinner party atmosphere and unpretentious menu. Perhaps their new place will have the same trendy yet laidback vibe?

The Wells could not immediately be reached for comment about Bernee.
