TLM’s Operations Manager Ryan Solomon told What Now Los Angeles that “the retail cafe’s [debut] depends on how quickly [the company is] able to get the city and health department to approve plans.”

“The current goal is fall of 2023,” says Solomon, “but that date could move in either direction.”

When asked how The Little Marionette would fit into LA, a city already brimming with coffee options, Solomon explained that TLM is instead aiming to “build a bridge between two fantastic and vital coffee cultures: Sydney and Los Angeles.”

He went on to say that the company’s “US outpost will maintain the strong commitment to quality coffee that made TLM an institution down under; it will draw from a deep well of talented roasters, baristas, and other coffee professionals who already call LA home. Flavor comes first, whether here or there!”
