“We’re really excited about this space that has so much history within the Koreatown community. It has a great kitchen and a huge dining room, it’s really great for parties. When the opportunity presented itself, we jumped at the chance to put in our own spin on the restaurant,” said Joo.

The 48-table eatery will be open for lunch and dinner and will offer three tiers for its all-you-can-eat format. Dinner prices range from $29.99 for silver, $38.99 for gold, and $58.99 for diamond.

“We’ll have salad bars and spreads where customers can grab their own marinated meats, as well as other menu items like fried rice and eggrolls. We’ll also serve beer and wine,” Joo continued.

Joo has been in the restaurant business for more than 20 years. In addition to BBQ Chang Dam’s K-Town and Garden Grove outposts, she also owns the popular Jinsol Gukbap in K-Town, known for their pork soup broth, as well as Izo Catering.

The Koreatown BBQ Chang Dam will be open seven days a week, with estimated hours from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
