According to a recently filed liquor license, Sam Trude and Sam Cooper will soon open the fourth iteration of their all-day cafe, Great White, at 11660 Darlington Avenue (San Vicente Boulevard) in what appears to be the Barney’s Gourmet Burger’s space. Great White Brentwood will join a few posh concepts on the busy corner like A.O.C Brentwood and Palmeri Ristorante.

Launched in 2017, Great White has locations in Venice, Larchmont Village, and West Hollywood. The art-centric dwellings are a coupling of Cali cuisine and Australian style, and come equipped with painted pizza boxes and meticulously curated music and ornamentation.

The menu offers a wide array of produce-driven dishes ranging from overnight oats to rigatoni bolognese. Some notable creations include the smoked salmon pizza topped with dill, red onion, capers, chive creme fraiche, toasted sesame, and poppyseed; the ricotta hotcake which has hazelnut dukkah; and the tuna conserva piled with three different types of “peas” (snap peas, pea sprouts, and crispy chickpeas).

An opening date for the incoming outpost has not yet been announced.
